  3. Stir in cumin, chili powder, paprika, salt, and black pepper until well combined.
  4. Add uncooked rice to the skillet and stir until rice is coated with the spices and vegetables.
  5. Pour in chicken broth, black beans, diced tomatoes, and frozen corn. Stir until everything is well combined.
  6. Bring mixture to a boil, then reduce heat to low and cover skillet with a lid. Simmer for 18-20 minutes, or until rice is cooked and liquid has been absorbed.
  7. Remove skillet from heat and let it sit for 5 minutes before serving.
  8. Sprinkle chopped cilantro on top of the skillet, if desired.
