Vegan Cauliflower Buffalo Wings: A Spicy and Healthy Snack

These vegan buffalo cauliflower wings are crispy, spicy and delicious. Made from cauliflower florets coated in a buffalo hot sauce, they are a perfect snack for game day or any day. They are healthier than traditional chicken wings but just as tasty.

 Ingredients:

•1 large cauliflower, cut into florets 

•1 cup all-purpose flour 

•1 cup plant-based milk 

•1 tsp garlic powder

•1 tsp chili powder

•1/2 tsp paprika

•1/2 c vegan buffalo hot sauce 

•2 tbsp plant-based butter


 Instructions:

1. Preheat oven to 450°F and line a large rimmed baking sheet with parchment paper. 

2.In a large bowl, whisk together the flour, garlic powder, chili powder, and paprika. 

3.In a separate bowl, whisk together the plant-based milk and 2 tablespoons of water.  

4. Working in batches, dip the cauliflower florets in the milk, then dredge in the flour mixture to coat and place on the prepared baking sheet. 

5. Mist the coated cauliflower with cooking spray and bake for 20 minutes, flipping halfway, until crisp.

6.Meanwhile, in a small saucepan, melt the plant-based butter. Whisk in the buffalo hot sauce and 2 tablespoons of water.  

7. Remove cauliflower from oven, toss with buffalo sauce to coat and serve.


 Precautions: Some buffalo hot sauces can be quite spicy, use according to your spice tolerance. Be very careful when handling the hot sauce and washing hands thoroughly afterwards.
